Eating Disorders

Although restricting, binging, and purging often become the symptoms of an eating disorder, there is a greater underlying cause worth exploring attached to disordered eating behaviors. Therapy can be effective in helping an individual become more aware of the thoughts, behaviors and emotions included in an eating disorder so that it can be battled more when it creeps into every day life. If you or someone you are in a relationship with is struggling with body image issues, anorexia, bulimia, body dysmorphia (focus on a flaw in one's appearance), or bingeing/purging behaviors therapy may be helpful for you.
